After 14 February 2006, to protect you and your customers from fraud, you should expect card companies to automatically decline payments if a PIN is not used with a chip and PIN card. This checklist is designed to help you and your staff reduce the number of PIN bypass transactions NOW on chip and PIN cards. Reducing PIN bypass will reduce industry exposure to fraud.
