The Spot
& Stop Card Fraud Pack is designed to help those who can train
retail staff whether you are a retailer or a crime prevention
or reduction officer - to help prevent card fraud that occurs at
the sales desk.
The pack is
a generic guide to complement existing card-acceptance training
materials provided by a retailer's head office procedures or bank's
operating instructions.
It is intended
to:
- Make fraud
prevention procedures easily accessible to staff
- Provide a
simple routine for staff to use every time
- Encourage
and motivate staff on a regular basis to build a culture of fraud
prevention awareness.
Spot &
Stop Card Fraud is produced by Card Watch, the UK banking
industry's body that works with the police, retailers and organisations
including Crimestoppers to fight card crime.
